Witherington Farm nestles in its own secluded valley yet is just 5 miles south of the historic Cathedral city of Salisbury and an easy distance from Stonehenge.

Witherington is a working farm of 600 acres and is the home of Ian and Annette Fergie–Woods and Caroline Beeney.

On the farm we grow mostly wheat and barley crops. We have some cattle and a few sheep. And we keep ten horses here. Also there are three dogs in the family - very friendly !.

Witherington has existed at least as far back as the 11th century and is described in Domesday Book.

The present farmhouse (now a 'listed' building) was built. c 1700. The rooms have the character of a house of that age, such as oak beams and large open fireplaces. They are decorated and furnished to a high standard.

Around the house is an outstandingly beautiful two acre garden. This has been judged to be the best bed and breakfast garden in the Salisbury district.

If you are a garden lover, you will not want to miss it.

The peace and beauty of Witherington, the walks and the scenery, and above all the lovely atmosphere, make Witherington a very special place. It gives us pleasure to share it with you.
