We have three guest bedrooms as described below, each with its own private bathroom. The rooms are on the first floor of the house, approached from ground floor level by a staircase of moderate gradient with handrails. We have no guest bedrooms at ground level.

Prices given are per night and include breakfast and all taxes.

This is a non-smoking house.
The South Room. This is the largest bedroom in the house and has splendid views in three directions over the garden and the farm. It has a kingsize double bed (which can be two singles if preferred) and there are armchairs and a television. Ensuite, a uniquely oak panelled bathroom has a wonderfully big bath, a separate shower, handbasin and wc.


South Room Price (including breakfast) :   2 persons £80.00,    1 person from £50.00
The Cottage Room. Another substantial room of great character, it is in the oldest (early 17th century) part of the house and overlooks the old farm yard. This room has a standard double bed (width 54 ins/140 cm) and armchairs and television. A powershower, handbasin and wc are ensuite. We can make up a temporary bed in this room for a child or a small person.

The East Room. A very comfortable size; it retains the original beamed fireplace and has extensive views over the countryside. There is a kingsize double bed which can be two singles if preferred. There are armchairs and a television. The room has its own private bathroom (bath with shower) and wc very nearby.


East Room Price (including breakfast) :   2 persons £60.00,   1 person from £40.00
The Sitting Room. On the same floor as these bedrooms, guests have their own large comfortable sitting room where there is television and local touring information.

Bedrooms each have the facility for making tea, coffee and other beverages. There is always a bowl of fruit in your room and many other extras to make your visit special.

All rooms have central heating radiators. Our voltage is 240 volts AC - 50 Hz.

Our Computer Terminal with high speed broadband internet connection is available for your use. Or there is wireless connection for your own laptop.

There is good access to the house for luggage. The front door of the house is fifty yards from the car park with two steps en route.. We should say in advance that we are not able to give any assistance with the carrying of heavy suitcases.

Breakfast
A delicious breakfast is served in the dining room. There is fruit, yoghurts, cereals, toast and a variety of homemade jams and marmalade, and choice of tea, coffee or chocolate. Most of our visitors enjoy our full English breakfast to start the day with. We can happily cater for special diets or preferences.

We are not able to provide an evening meal but there are friendly Pubs nearby in Alderbury (1½ miles) and Downton (4 miles) which serve good food. Salisbury (5 miles) has several good restaurants.
